I always appreciate gifts that are handmade, secondhand, or support small or local businesses! I would recommend against gift cards—although I appreciate them so much, past experiences demonstrate that I never get around to using them. (Last updated: December 26, 2024)

Mead
I’m convinced that mead is the next big drink. It’s so delicious, and really lends that je ne sais quoi to D&D nights. I’ve linked to a local meadery that I’ve purchased from before, but I would also enjoy trying other brands!

Things that smell good
Like perfume sample sets open_in_new , fancy scented candles open_in_new , or incense open_in_new . I usually favor interesting atmospheric scents; some notes I like are: ozone, cedar, musk, moss, honeycomb, amber, and patchouli.

Custom Key Blank
($13)
I use my keys every day and I think it would be fun to have a cool one. You buy the blank, and then I’ll get it cut to be my house key. Easy!

Boy Smells Exploratory Set
($42)
Another perfume sample set that I’m particularly interested in. While I normally go for indie perfumes, there are some commercial houses coming out with interesting stuff, and Boy Smells is one that I’ve heard good things about.

Silver Clay Starter Set
($120)
I love cute little jewelry pieces and I think it would be so fun to try making some myself! Silver clay is a pretty easy introduction into jewelry making.
