A shelf-stable, high-calorie food easily created by a molecular printer. It is a dense brick, with a texture somewhat like fruit leather, and tastes faintly savory, though of nothing specific. Can come with or without “bits”, and you better believe folks have strong preferences. It contains all the vitamins and minerals required for a nutritionally complete diet. It is both extremely practical and highly demoralizing.

This was a common food on the ark station and during settlement of the archipelago and many creative preparations were developed to offset the sheer monotony of consuming it.
